Paddy Borthwick’s Paper Road 2021 Pinot Noir from the Wairarapa region delivers an enticingly fragrant and juicy profile. The nose is expressive with dark cherry, ripe plum, and hints of cedar brush spice, intertwined with fine garden herbs. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine is succulent and smooth, its fine-grained tannins adding texture and depth. The finish is silky with a touch of spice, making for a beautifully complex and savoury wine.

Pinot Noir food pairings: Lamb ragu, turkey, margherita pizza.
