Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Horray again! Another wee gem at $20.10! Absolutely delicious and stunning for the price. Full on personality wine.
This is a deep rich, red wine in the glass.
On the nose, the first top note is that of black currants and mixed chopped peel. It is so enticing I was so eager to take my first sup!
On the palate there is a  voluptuous mouthful of cherries followed by blueberries and blackberries. There is a dry acidity that steps forward and then leads into a licorice note. As the licorice starts to diminish wondrous spices start to peel back one by one, mild pepper then nutmeg and finally cloves! Truly.... Do I need to say more! The tannins are of a medium to persistent length and completes in my opinion a wow wine!

Bottoms up!
