Elegant with great depth and complexity. A terrific second label for this winery. Classic Bordeaux aromas of smoke, cassis and dried herbs. Long finish. Will do well in the cellar.

Food pairings: grilled lamb chops, roast beef, New York striploin steak with sautéed wild mushrooms.

Reviews and Ratings

Osoyoos Larose Pétales D'osoyoos (2013) is elegant, with smoky cherries, red berries, dried herbs and dark chocolate. What more can you ask from a Bordeaux blend red wine from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Except to ask for more. The wine is medium-bodied and is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. - Community Wine Reviews
