Reviews and Ratings

Fraser Young rated this wine as 96/100
Ornellaia (2014) is a full-bodied, deep red and dry Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot red wine blend from Bolgheri, in the Tuscany wine region. Forest floor, mushrooms and truffle on the nose, the wine is earthy with dark berries, cake spice and toasty oak on the palate. Tannins are firm and this beautiful red showing promise could benefit from some cellar time. Drink after 2019. Pair with a cross-rib roast. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
