Decadently rich tawny port with aromas of seductive toffee. Of course one can't resist saying that it's offley good ;) Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, baking spices and treacle. Finishes with toasted almond. Perfect for after dinner on its own or with biscotti.

Port food pairings: crème brûlée, pecan in pastry, clear stock soup.

Reviews and Ratings

Elizabeth Vickers rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

First bottle given to Fr Bob for Christmas (2018). Comments will have to wait for my bottle being opened!

Second bottle opened and thoroughly enjoyed over the Christmas (2019) season...a lovely port!
High scores for this 10-year-old Tawny port! Remember the traditional spice cake your mother took out for guests at Sunday coffee? Cinnamon, cloves, allspice, ginger and nutmeg spices mix in with coffee, molasses, fig, date, walnut and hazelnut. It's all there, unctuous, delicious and well-priced. Pair with sitting by the fireplace and roasted honey almonds. - Community Wine Reviews
