A luscious, delicious, lip-smacking juicy Pinot Noir from a master of the genre. Norm Hardie's winery is located in Prince Edward County but the fruit for this particular wine comes from Niagara. Aromas of sour cherry and earth. Gorgeous! Pair with roast turkey or chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal medallions, lamb in a red wine sauce, roasted pork loin, Tourtière, prime rib roasted.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Mouthwatering acidity, tart, dry, chalky, dusty mouthfeel. Tasted 2016 vintage in Dec 2017. Cranberry, cherry, baking spice and minerality. Pair with roast poultry and seasonal favourites. Balanced and integrating well. 91 points.
Andrea Shapiro, Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

@normhardie This bouquet is glorious! Plum, strawberries and a bevy of fresh, forest leaves and blossoms. Flavours also tell a story - Ripe raspberries, pomegranate and haskap fruitiness. impressively "Burgundian" meaning this is well balanced and shows a refined and softness. Medium plus acidity, body, tannins and finish with a touch of vanilla at the back. Overall it’s an outstanding example of Ontarian Pinot Noir from an expert winemaker whose art and crafted skills are apparent and shown fully in this wine! Gorgeous. 91 points - tasted July 2017
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A very silky and light-bodied Pinot exuding vibrant sour cherry and musky earth with a hint of orange zest. Delicious. Drink with rillets and a Niagara charcuterie board
Norman Hardie Niagara (2016) is a Pinot Noir from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Lots of vibrant acidity and ripe tart cherry and cranberry fruit on this Pinot Noir. The wine was bottled unfiltered. Norm Hardie's winery is in Prince Edward County but the fruit for this wine comes from Niagara. Pair with grilled salmon. - Community Wine Reviews
