Liquid dark chocolate o the nose and palate. Very powerful, full-palate whack. Black fruit with juiciness. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot. Enjoy it with back ribs.

Food pairings: back ribs.

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a juicy blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec in even amounts. The nose is hit with intense red and black fruit aromas, some jamminess, sweet cake spices, chocolate, cigar box, and tobacco leaf. The palate is smooth and dry with a lingering fruit-driven finish. Medium(+) acidity does a good job in balancing all the nuances in this Argentinian red wine. At $17 it's worth half a case. Enjoy with grilled Sirloin sprinkled with sea salt. Enjoy today.
Tasted: January 2016
The 2012 Nieto Senetiner Don Nicanor has firm tannins so decant 1 hour. In 1888, Nieto Senetiner winery was established by Italian immigrants who planted the first vines in Vistalba, Lujan de Cuyo. The Nieto Senetiner family bought the estate in 1969. - Community Wine Reviews
