Mullineux's Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc from Swartland is an irresistible, medium-bodied white wine offering notes of Golden Delicious apple, Bartlett pear, Meyer lemon zest and crushed flint. This dry wine displays bouncy ripe orchard fruit and velvety texture that will continue to develop over the next six years. Serve it chilled with grilled duck breast à l'orange as the wine's harmonious character complements the citrus-glazed poultry, or pair it with fish tacos where the wine's zingy freshness balances the toppings. Winemakers Chris and Andrea Mullineux craft this sleek wine from old vines, with a tiny two percent oaked portion adding textural support while preserving spotless fruit and pristine character. The wine's succulent minerality and gentle spice showcase the exceptional quality possible from Swartland's ancient Chenin Blanc vineyards. This lively, food-friendly white represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2032.

Chenin Blanc food pairings: grilled duck breast a l'orange, grilled chicken dishes, pan-fried pan fish, fish tacos.
