Vintages Wine Panel: A blend of 60% Garnacha (Grenache), 30% the white Viura grape, and 10% Tempranillo. Red-pink colour with a salmon-pink hue. Intensely expressive nose of red cherry, pink grapefruit, strawberry, melon and mineral. Dry, medium bodied, and tangy with vibrant acidity. Flavour-packed and finely balanced. Long, tangy finish. A great food wine. My note: Pale and subtle with lovely notes of rose petals, and strawberries. A field of tiny flowers swaying the breeze, or maybe it’s just me who’s swaying and they’re perfectly still. Doesn’t matter; the pleasure is the same.

Garnacha Viura food pairings: seafood tapas, grilled fish.

Reviews and Ratings

Travis Oke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Muga's rosé - or rosado as it's known in Spain. Its lovely salmon-pink hue draws you back to look at it before you taste it – it really is beautiful with floral and apple aromas to match. Fruit forward with a smooth finish and a bit of body, it lingers on your palate more than a typical rosé wine. My favorite Vintages Rosé

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
