Natalie's Score: 90/100

A medium-bodied 90% Viura and 10% Malvasía Cava with wine grapes sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Rioja wine region. Made in the traditional method, bone-dry, medium-bodied with binned apple, white-fleshed stone fruit, fresh and clean on the palate. Nicely done and so easy to enjoy.

Brut Cava food pairings: turkey, shellfish, pasta, charcuterie, vegetarian casserole.

Reviews and Ratings

Conde De Haro Brut 2016 is made in the traditional method from 90% Viura and 10% Malvasía wine grapes sourced from the Rioja wine region. Look for ripe apple, peach, flinty, juicy and zesty persistent bubbles on the palate. A wonderfully fresh Cava. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
