Mountadam Vineyards Five-Fifty 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot red wine blend (70/30) is a great value Barossa red under $18. Full-bodied, rich and smooth with spiced dark plum, blackcurrant, earthy and savoury herb flavours finishing long and satisfying. Pour with a crown pork roast.

Seems a little light/thin for my modest palette! But there is definitely an alcohol burn. I bet this would kick aas if the alcohol was dialed back a couple % points, not that I know what I'm talking about!
