Reviews and Ratings

A lovely, mature rose Champagne from one of the region's most respected producers. Aromas of field berries and dried flowers with some cherry on the finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or companion to salmon. MINE: The 2006 vintage of the Brut Rosé Grand Vintage is a robust rosé Champagne with tremendous balance the structure. The Grand Vintage Rosé is a blend of 47% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier grapes. There was 23% still Pinot Noir in the blend to add richness. The dosage was 5 grams per litre. OTHER: Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review: Pretty in pink with a flare for the dramatic. A backbone of strawberry and raspberry with some toast and jam on the side. A little perfume emits via the bubbles that tickle your nose. Perfect aperitif or try it with pigeon breast in Reims. I did! Tasted: March 6, 2016 in Reims, France Restaurant Le Parc des Crayeres. OTHER: Hints of honey and toast enrich flavors of crushed black cherry, raspberry, singed orange peel, mineral and licorice snap in this bright, spiced rosé. Shows lovely integration. Vibrant acidity drives the lingering, smoky finish. Drink now through 2028. Score - 93 (Alison Napjus, winespectator.com, Nov. 30, 2016). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
