Montes Outer Limits Albariño from Zapallar is a dry, medium-bodied white wine from the Pacific Ocean-influenced, cool-climate vineyard, revealing zesty, crisp flavors with plenty of stony zip and intensity, notes of grapefruit, lemon and white pepper and a hint of guava sweetness. Serve it chilled with grilled octopus with paprika, where the wine's stony intensity and citrus notes complement the tender, smoky seafood while its crisp acidity cuts through the richness, or pair it with fresh oysters with mignonette as the wine's unwooded style and zesty character echo the briny, ocean-fresh flavors. Winemaker Felipe Tosso oversees production at Viña Montes, a pioneering Chilean estate founded in 1988 that has been at the forefront of exploring extreme terroirs, with the Outer Limits range showcasing unique cool-climate sites influenced by the Pacific Ocean. This is the exciting first release of Albariño from this promising vineyard and can be enjoyed from 2026 through 2029.

Albariño food pairings: salads, herbed flatbreads and goat cheese, herbed quiches.
