Montes Limited Selection Chardonnay from Aconcagua Costa opens with vibrant aromas of ripe mango, fresh pineapple, papaya, and citrus blossom with hints of wet stone minerality. Dry and medium-bodied with bright, refreshing acidity, it flows across the palate with tropical fruit character and closes with a clean, zesty finish. Serve it well chilled or cellar it through 2030. Aurelio Montes Jr., who took over winemaking duties from his pioneering father Aurelio Montes Sr., crafts this unoaked expression aged in concrete eggs to preserve the wine's subtle aromas and delicate fruit flavors, showcasing the cool coastal terroir that his father first explored when he planted Chile's first coastal vineyard at Zapallar, something that had never been done before and reflected the family's tireless innovative spirit. Pair this modern Chardonnay with fresh sushi and sashimi where the wine's bright acidity complements the delicate flavors of raw fish, or enjoy it with grilled sea bass topped with mango salsa as the tropical fruit notes beautifully echo the wine's vibrant character.

Chardonnay food pairings: fresh sushi and sashimi, grilled sea bass with mango salsa, ceviche.
