From Chile's Aconcagua Costa wine region, Montes Limited 2022 Pinot Noir is excellent value at $18. The coastal mountain range is composed of granite with various sizes and types of clay soil that give this wine elegance and structure. Look for bright red berry fruit, dark cherry, wild herbs, earthy florals and smoky spicy notes on this creamy and elegant PN with a lingering flinty mineral finish. A portion of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for seven months with the balance in stainless-steel tanks.

Reviews and Ratings

Montes Limited Edition 2022 Pinot Noir is excellent value at $18. Produced from grapes sourced from the cooler vineyards near the Pacific Ocean, this dry, medium-bodied PN is fresh and lifted with bright red berry fruit, fine green herbs, fir and flinty mineral flavours all balanced with food-friendly acidity. Tannins are firm. A unique Pinot Noir from Chile's Aconcagua Costa wine region. - Community Wine Reviews
