A bright and fresh, juicy Bardolino under and a great value from the Veneto wine region. Bright red berry, blood orange zest, savoury herb flavours and smoky on the palate. Tannins are fine. Very approachable now.

Food pairings: pizza meat, lasagne, rich tomato sauce and pasta.

Reviews and Ratings

Monte Del Frá Bardolino 2017 is well-priced under $20. From the Veneto wine region, Bardolino is often referred to as "baby Valpolicella" as that viticultural zone is right beside it. Look for juicy red berry, tart cherry, raspberry and savoury spice flavours on this medium-bodied red. Enjoy now with pizza night. - Community Wine Reviews
