Very easy drinking, dry, almost full-bodied Spanish red wine with good acidity for food. Great party wine, especially in this magnum size which is the equivalent of two regular bottles. Pair with grilled pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From the Ebro Valley vineyards surrounding Cariñena village, the largest and oldest of the Aragonese DOs, comes this fruity blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo, Carinena and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dry and medium-bodied with abundant aromas and flavours of plums, black cherries and dark berries and a touch of wood smoke and spice. Fresh on the palate with well-balanced acidity, smooth tannins and lingering finish. Perfect companion to variety of tapas, charcuterie and cheeses.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
