This blockbuster Australian red wine is incredibly concentrated with great depth and length. On the nose are big, dark aromas and flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant and dark spices. Very mouth-filling and rich Cabernet Sauvignon. Pair with brontosaurus burgers. Highly recommended.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hamburgers, steak, hearty meat dishes, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From McLaren Vale, this ripe and full-bodied wine has flavours of dark berries, vanilla, cinnamon, and pungent spices. The intense flavours linger on the warming, elegant finish.
Enjoy on its own or pair with ribs or roast beef.
Dink now or cellar until 2019.
Date tasted: November 2014.
Great concentration and depth and length. Big black aromas and flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant and dark spices. Very mouth-filling and rich. Great whimsy on the labels and naming of these wines. - Community Wine Reviews
