Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

More depth of the fermented flavours of traditional sake as one would expect from Junmai. Deeper richer than many other Junmai Sake.
Junmai saké is pure rice wine without the addition of any distilled alcohol or sugars. Masumi's version sits right in the middle of the sweet/dry spectrum. Quite mellow with hints of grippiness, beautifully smooth and textured, with mushroom and candy qualities emerging. A persistent sweet note arrives on the pleasing finish; this is very clean and well done. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
