Herbal, grassy refreshment and citrus zest with a lovely energetic lime lift in the mid-palate. Terrific price for such quality. Pair with vegetarian dishes, seafood and salads. Highly recommended. This zesty white wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes that receives no oak contact to maintain its freshness. Pair with seafood or spinach quiche.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: pan-fried freshwater fish, grilled prawns, chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad.

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Sauvignon Blanc wins points for typicity. Fresh, clean, intense aromas of cut grass, lemon grass, blackcurrant leaf, tropical fruit, hint of floral. The palate shows lively acidity with a little effervescence. A long refreshing grassy finish. This is a wine to buy by the case for hot summer days and patio sipping. Perfect salad wine. A true price performer.

Santa Digna is named for crosses at the end of the property in Spain. These crosses served to delineate territories and symbolized fortune and protection for those who left remote countries. The Torres family bought the Santa Digna winery and vineyards in 1979. They now have more than 600 acres (245 hectares) of vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews
