Gorgeous nose of smoke and fleshy black cherry. Supple, liquid silk on the palate. More fleshy black cherry and black raspberry. Loaded with flavour and character. Medium- to full-bodied. A favourite of mine year after year. Perfect for roast chicken or grilled pork chops.

Pinot Noir food pairings: blackened beef, lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Forthright aromas of smoked meat, hickory, dark cherry, ripe raspberry and leather. Smoky, dark and dense on the palate with good echoes of the nose along with a sprinkling of savoury spice notes. A robust style of Pinot. Medium-bodied & Fruity. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan. 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
