From Meyer Family Vineyards, Old Main Road Vineyard 2019 is a delicious, smooth and balanced Chardonnay with grapes sourced from Stevens Block in the Old Main Road Vineyard. Stevens Block is one of four acres on a steep slope. Grapes are whole-bunch pressed, followed by a long fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Then the wine rests on its lees in neutral French oak barrels for six months. Creamy and leesy on the palate, the wine is dry with ripe pear, lemon cream and subtle spicy flavours finishing long on the palate. A beautifully-crafted and balanced Chardonnay from beautiful British Columbia.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, veal chops, lobster bisque, smoked fish on baguette.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
