Reviews and Ratings

Mymi Thesingingsommelier - Sommelier, FWS rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Sea Ridge Winery is owned by the Bronco Wine Company. It was founded in 1973 by Fred T., Joseph S. and John Franzia. The Bronco Wine Company is a family-owned winery committed to growing, producing and selling the finest quality wines of the highest value to their customers. The company has become a major vintage varietal wine source to the California wine industry and is currently recognized as the fifth largest winery and the largest vineyard owner in the United States.
Bronco Wine Company is vertically integrated, from the vineyard to the table!
They own over 35,000 acres (140 km²) of vineyards most of which are located in California's Central Valley.
If you are looking for an easy, everyday drinking wine, choose this one! At that price point, it will soon become your “house-wine”!!!
In the glass, it is a bright, lightly pigmented ruby red color with shapely runway legs!
On the nose, it is intensely fruity, full of cherry, strawberry, plum, spice, a little black earth and dried rosemary herb.
On the palate, it is fruity with soft tannins, a touch of acidity and residual sugar. The aromas are well represented with the addition of menthol. A medium finish that longs for another sip!
This wine is perfect for your weekly meals or anything on the bbq!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
