Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Spicy orchard and tropical fruit. Long orchard fruit, mineral, and spicy ginger finish. An exceptionally full-bodied and flavourful un-oaked Monterey Chardonnay that I'd highly recommend buying by the case. Enjoy 2016-2022. Absolutely delicious! Tasted July 2016. 93 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Lemon torte and grapefruit immediately comes to mind nosing this wine from the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County, California. Mer Soleil (2014) is bright with zesty acidity and lots of citrus on the palate. No oak on this wine. Pair with salads. - Community Wine Reviews
