This German Riesling will dazzle your senses: it's almost blinding in its intensity of fruit and balancing acidity, like waking out from a dark cave into mid-afternoon sunshine. This QMP-designated wine has depths of apricot, peach and honeysuckle flavour. Medium-bodied, no oak, long finish. This vineyard is one of the most renowned in the Mosel region of Germany. The is delicate yet packed in flavour and low in alcohol at just 8.5%. Try it with Indian chicken dishes.

Riesling food pairings: nuts, melons, soft cheese, curries, spicy food.

Reviews and Ratings

This German white wine is made from Riesling grapes that grow on vines planted on the extremely steep slopes of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard. This Riesling Kabinett from Max Ferd has lots of minerality and flavour. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
