From the Loire wine region, a mouth-watering, bone-dry 100% Sauvignon Blanc with bright grapefruit, citrus, fine herb flavours with a chalky, clean mineral finish lingering on the palate. Fresh, crisp and very zesty. Chill and enjoy with a goat cheese and herbed quiche.

Sancerre food pairings: goat cheese salad topped with dried cranberries, grilled seafood, creamy pasta dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The star grape in Sancerre - Sauvignon Blanc - shows very well in this bottle. The gooseberries, slight hay and grass, and tropical fruit with racy fresh acidity are what shine in this wine. If you are a lover of Sancerre, you will be happy with this bottle as it represents the region beautifully. Perfectly balanced, drink now - Although, not a bad idea to also explore how it will age in 5 years. Worth every penny.
Produced by Matthias Et Emile Roblin Enclos De Maimbray 2016 Sancerre is an Old-World Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. Bone-dry and medium-bodied with mouth-watering green apple, fresh white florals and lime zest flavours weighty on the palate with a lingering briny mineral finish. Pair with grilled honey Dijon and herbed chicken breasts - Community Wine Reviews
