Masi's Brolo Di Campofiorin Oro 2017 is a modern Ripasso, smoky and supple with layers of ripe dark cherry, dark chocolate, savoury herb, baking spice and vanilla flavours. This wine is crafted using the appassimento method from a blend of the Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta grapes, the latter of which was rediscovered and replanted by Masi in the 1980s.

Food pairings: grilled lamb, pepper steak, spaghetti carbonara.

Reviews and Ratings

Bernard rated this wine as 93/100
Masi's Brolo Di Campofiorin Oro 2017 is a stylish Ripasso, a smoky and supple blend of the Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta grapes made in Appassimento style with juicy, crushed black fruit, dried fine herbs and smoky spices, well-integrated tannins and beautifully balanced, finishing long and creamy on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
