Smooth, full-bodied and lovely with mocha and dark fruit goodness. Gorgeous replays of black plum and cherry across the palate. Finishes with a touch spice and espresso. Highly recommended. Dark berries on the nose with vanilla spice and baked fruit on the finish. Pair with roasted meats.

Food pairings: grilled lamb, pepper steak, spaghetti carbonara.

Great balance and acidity on this full-bodied red from Veneto. Brolo Campofiorin Oro (2012) is plush with dark cherries and soft tannins. This wine is a great expression of the local Veronese grape Corvina. "Brolo" in the name of this full-bodied Italian red wine is the equivalent of the French term "clos" meaning walled vineyard.
