Martinez Lacuesta Gran Reserva 2010 is a mature Rioja produced from Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes. The wine is dry, medium-bodied and elegant with plum, savoury herb, dried red berry fruit, fig and subtle spicy flavours silky on the palate. This Gran Reserva was aged 36 months in American-oak barrels and a further 54 months in bottle. Tannins are polished. Decant for one hour prior to pouring it with a juicy roast pork. Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta was founded in 1895 in Haro, Rioja and was one of the original bodegas instrumental in establishing the Regulatory Body of the Rioja wine D.O.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
