Vintages Wine Panel: Blanc de Noirs means white wines from red grapes. The wine receives no skin contact, so the juice is white. The blend here is 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. This effervescent Champagne features a sweet fruit core of apple and pear, with a hint of lemony tartness rounding out the finish. My note: The red wine content in this bubbly give it deeper flavors and length. Great price.

Champagne Blanc De Noirs Non-Vintage food pairings: grilled lobster tail, seafood pasta with cream-based sauce.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
