Reviews and Ratings

Crisp and clean with terrific lemon zest and freshness. There's some yellow apple and white pear on a clean finish. Try this wine with a range of fresh seafood or vegetarian dishes. MINE: Marchesi di Barolo 2016 is a clean, crisp, zesty and lemony Gavi Di Gavi from the Piedmont wine region. The wines for Gavi di Gavi are made completely from Cortese grape and grown in the township of Gavi. Marchesi di Barolo winery has been family-run for more than two centuries and five generations ago. Pair this one with grilled seafood. OTHER: Floral and anise notes accent the core apple and lemon flavors in this juicy white. Balanced, leaving a salty, yet mouth-watering impression. Drink now. Score - 89 (Bruce Sanderson, winespectator.com, 2019). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
