A stunning red, ready to drink now though it will last 15+ years. Notes of tar, black fruit, truffles and violets. There's classic Barolo style here with massive structure, depth and concentration. Pair with truffle risotto and wild boar.

Barolo food pairings: filet mignon, pork tenderloin, pizza, pasta, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

In 1989, the Marchesi Antinori family entered into partnership with the Prunotto Company distributing wine until 1994 when Marchesi Antinori became hands-on in the winemaking process of this fantastic Barolo. Prunotto is approachable now and will continue to be for the next 15 years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
