A sexy smooth and silky Pinot Noir fragrant with a tart cherry, sous bois and mocha nose. Dry, zesty with bright cherry, red berry, dried fine herbs and oak spice flavours caressing the palate. Nicely done!

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal scaloppini, beef, smoked salmon, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Marchand-Tawse 2017 Pinot Noir is silky smooth, supple and rich with bright cherry, mocha, vanilla and light herbs on the palate. Produced by a joint venture between Moray Tawse, of Niagara's Tawse winery, and Burgundian winemaker Pascal Marchand. The Pinot Noir vines were planted in 1978 in the clay and limestone soils of Pommard, one of Burgundy's most respected communes. Enjoy now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
