Madison's Ranch 2016 Chardonnay is an oaky, toffee-laden, buttery Napa Valley Chardonnay with ripe red apple and vanilla, creamy, weighty on the palate wrapped up with more toasty oak and balanced with good acidity to give it a lift. Chill and pair with smoked fish on baguette.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster with melted butter, barbecued pork, turkey burgers, linguini with clams and fennel.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Napa Valley, Madison's Ranch 2016 Chardonnay is an oaky, buttery, toffee-flavoured Chardonnay. Dry and creamy on the palate, this chardonnay is definitely made for lovers of oaky Chardonnay with ripe apple and soft citrus flavours on the palate. Finishes toasty with good acidity to pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
