Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Alex: Pretty charred plum notes, with some fig, espresso, sardine and chocolate raspberry sauce. Extremely ripe and heady Southern France drop here! That said its 15.5% alcohol is hardly felt, as there's mouthfilling fruit saturation, and a mineral lift on the palate keeping things from being too heavy and maintaining balance. Finishes on roasted red fruits and grilled herbs, without much acidity - though a tasty wine for the short term. Good value for amarone/zinfandel fans, and would be excellent with a braised beef. 89 pts

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
