Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Bright shade of red. Pleasing bouquet of sour cherry, hint of earth, rose petal, and oak. Rustic palate complete with vibrant acidity, grippy tannins, and medium body, sporting sour cherry and oak spice. Pair with tomato sauce: pizza, lasagna, chicken parmesan, or eggplant parm casserole. Great value, stock up.
L'oca Ciuca 2016 is a juicy Chianti from the Tuscany wine region with fresh black cherry, spice and dried herb flavours on the palate. L'Oca Ciuca means "crazy goose," and this fun red is a crazy price below $15. Pair with pizza night. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
