Magnificent for the price point! Floral with fleshy ripe peach yet airy and refreshing. Medium-bodied with a peach blossom finish. Slight sweetness lends food versatility, yet it's not at all cloying.

Riesling food pairings: Thai or Indian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Tanya rated this wine as 97/100
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

off-dry wine features lovely aromas of peach, nectarine and citrus, all of which echo nicely on the palate where they're balanced by crisp acidity. Enjoy with lightly spiced Thai or Indian cuisine.

This favourite of Vintages customers is part of winemaker Rainer Lingenfelder’s Vineyard Creatures series. It has a pretty nose rich in ripe apple, lime, mineral and spice notes with lifted white blossoms. Crisp with excellent replays, most notably the fresh lime note. This will be a great addition to a meal. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
