2011 Libra Wines Oregon Pinot Noir

Price: $36.50

Availability: Willow Park Wines and Spirits
Very limited production and availability. Find it.

Assessed by: Keith Robinson

Tasted: October 2014

Product Details: Oregon AVA 13.5% ABV, Pinot Noir

Libra is a small winery in Carleton, Oregon. Tasted wine is from the relatively rare Oregon AVA, rather than their usual estate or Willamette Valley offerings. Poured and tasted at Willow Park's Pinot Noir Festival where it was received extremely well amongst hundred of entries

The tasting: Beautiful complex nose of red berries and earth. Layered, deep, strong palate. Creamy texture. This wine shows very, very well.

Drink over next ten years.

Food pairing: Drink this lovely Pinot with strong, simple foods – meat loaf, stew, fried chicken.

Music pairing: Libra, Toni Braxton. Listen to the whole album with the Libra Pinot Noir

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
