Black raspberry and cigar box on the nose. Fleshy dark fruit and blackberry jam on the palate with a supple texture. Great for grilled meats. This is a solid producer no matter the vintage or grape. Nice price. This wine teases your senses, but not with your wallet.

Syrah food pairings: barbecued chicken, beef stew, lamb cutlets, beef fajitas, beef and black bean burritos.

Reviews and Ratings

Lots going on here, with dark cherry, milk chocolate and blackberry jelly on the nose. There is a real wealth of deep, dark fruit in this juicy, round and easygoing wine. The finish shows some tannin, but it's integrated and just showing enough to add extra oomph to the close. This customer favourite is a fine choice. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Sept. 2013

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
