Lusciously big pineapple and tropical fruit notes on the nose of this Californian white wine, with a round, viscous mouth-filling texture and a toasty vanilla-caramel finish. Great price for big Californian Chardonnay. Pair with roast chicken or pasta in a cream sauce.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast partridge with peach and honey glaze, warm potato salad with spring onion lemon mustard dressing, baked artichokes with garlic olives and parmesan cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

From Central Coast, California Liberty School 2015 Chardonnay (with a splash of Viognier) is full and lush on the palate with tropical fruit, vanilla, honey and buttered toast flavours on the palate. Pair with roast chicken. One-room schoolhouses were once centres of knowledge and community in early rural America. In this spirit, Liberty School pays respect to the tradition of honest work, dedication and perseverance. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
