Lusciously big pineapple and tropical fruit notes on the nose of this Californian white wine, with a round, viscous mouth-filling texture and a toasty vanilla-caramel finish. Great price for big Californian Chardonnay. Pair with roast chicken or pasta in a cream sauce.

Chardonnay Viognier food pairings: roast partridge with peach and honey glaze, warm potato salad with spring onion lemon mustard dressing, baked artichokes with garlic olives and parmesan cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Paul Cebo rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

Good one, I'll definitely buy it again.
Liberty Schools' (2014) Chardonnay from Central Coast, California is a big and rich wine with pineapple and tropical fruit on the nose and round and mouth-filling with a toasty vanilla on the palate. Just a great price point for this full-bodied Californian Chardonnay. There is a splash of Viognier in this wine that gives it a nice honey, apricot floral lift. Pair with roast chicken or pasta in a cream sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
