The wine spends twelve months aging in a combination of American and French oak barrels followed by an additional six months in bottle before release. Founded at the turn of the twentieth century by Juan Leza Arenzana in the historic town of Uruñuela, the family winery remains true to traditional Rioja Alta winemaking while embracing modern techniques.
