Lenz Moser's Prestige Grüner Veltliner from Niederösterreich is a youthful, medium-bodied white wine offering notes of meadow herbs, guava, white stone fruit and lemon balm. This dry wine displays delicate character and fine acidic structure that will continue to develop over the next six years. Serve it well chilled with smoked salmon as the wine's maritime-briny finish complements the cured fish, or pair it with lentil soup where the wine's white pear fruit balances the earthy flavors. Winemaker Laurenz Moser V crafts this lean Grüner with honeydew melon, white pepper and lemongrass complexity alongside crushed-stone minerality on the mouth-wateringly lengthy palate. The wine's pale yellow color with verdant hints and silver reflections showcase the pristine character of Austrian Grüner Veltliner. This zesty, food-friendly white represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2032.

Grüner Veltliner food pairings: lentil soup, smoked salmon, boiled ham, salads, vegetarian dishes.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
