Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

I don’t often come across sparkling red wine, but when I do, I’m amazed by the wide options a sparkling red can offer when it comes to food pairing. Here, the bubbles refresh and tame the heaviness of the red grape, making it a good choice with veal and fish dishes. Medium-bodied and dry, with notes of fresh citrus, blackberry jam, and red currant, the bubbles in this rosso are subtle. A good value for money, especially if you are looking for something unique.
From Mantovano in the Lombardy wine region, Lebovitz Torre Vino Frizzante Rosso Secco is a Lambrusco from that northern Italy region, giving it the designation of the only Italian appellation for Lambrusco outside the Emilia-Romagna wine region. This is delightful fizzy red with blueberry, mulberry and blackberry jammy flavours on the palate. Chill and pair it with mozzarella or polenta fries with marinara sauce. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
