This full-bodied Spanish red wine is produced by Bodegas Altanza and has achieved the D.O.C.A. quality designation. It's a pleasant, robust sipper with dark red fruit aromas and some dark spices on the finish. Balanced and well-crafted. Try it with hearty meat dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas are a touch soft but cherry, tobacco leaf, chocolate and a little (dusty) minerality linger off the glass. These notes repeat on the palate with a little peppery finish. Medium body, little to no tannins and medium-short spicy dried cherry & mineral finish. Pretty good pair with tomato sauce based dishes, and perhaps a nice pizza wine!
Love the dark red tint on this Spanish red wine. Black cherry and pepper flavours replay across the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
