Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From Stellenbosch, South Africa, a blend of all the French suspects- Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet France (in descending order!)
Full-bodied with black current aromas, leading to a palate of red berries. Medium acidity and high tannins. A dry, gamey, smoky finish. Decant or age further. Serve with red meats and stews. Tasted February 2020.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cabernet Sauvignon blend with Cinsault, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Good broad nose exhibiting ripe plum, cassis, and cherry with oak and leather notes, and a touch of alcohol. Firm but round tannins, bright acidity, and a full but not excessive body. Nice red blend, best with food, especially a rack of lamb or a rare cut of beef.
Le Riche Richesse 2016 is a plushy and easy-drinking Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cinsault and Malbec red wine blend from the Stellenbosch wine region in South Africa. Look for ripe dark plum, cassis, dark chocolate, earthy and smoky flavours savoury on the palate. Tannins are firm. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
