Attractive cherry and raspberry notes with some racy spicy notes on this medium-bodied, smooth French red wine. Good core of minerality with red licorice. Very nice for the price. Pair with meaty seafood like salmon or tuna.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2013 vintage of this Grand Cras Vieilles Vignes Morgon is made form grapes grown in the centre of Cru Morgon in Beaujolais planted on steep and well exposed slopes. Five generations of the family have owned and operated this winery. Dark ruby colour with red and black berries on the finish. Polished tannins. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
