Lan Gran Reserva 2012 is a mature, full-bodied Rioja red blend of Tempranillo and Mazuelo grapes sourced from vines over 40-years-of-age. Fragrant with ripe dark berry, dried fruits, cinnamon and smoky aromas; dry, with dark berry, plum, blueberry, mocha and toasty oak flavours on the palate with a mouth-watering long finish. Tannins are structured and firm. Pour with a roast leg of lamb. Drink or hold.

Food pairings: herbed steaks, Portobello mushroom, chilli, soup, lamb chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Lan Gran Reserva 2012 is a mature, full-bodied Rioja red wine blend of Tempranillo and Mazuelo grapes sourced from vines over 40 years of age. Look for ripe red berry, dark plum, blueberry, mocha, sweet dried tobacco leaf, cinnamon, anise spice and smoky vanilla aromas and flavours rounded on the palate. Well-balanced with a lovely, lingering finish. - Community Wine Reviews
