Reviews and Ratings

Excellent replays of dark fruit aromas on the palate of this robust Californian red wine that is a joint venture between Quails' Gate CEO Tony Stewart and Napa Valley's Dan Zepponi, who also co-own in Plume wines of Napa Valley. The Lake Sonoma winery was founded in 1977, but the estate itself is over 150-years-old (1863). The grapes are grown in the northern sub-appellations of Sonoma, including the Alexander Valley. Pair with smoky backribs. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
