Reviews and Ratings

Seann rated this wine as 92/100
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted March 19th, 2018. Colour dark ruby red starting to show age. Legs thick. Aromas and flavours of plum jam, red licorice, black cherry and mulled spice. Taste dry, fruity, mouthwatering, with lots of gritty tannin and hot pepper on the finish. Drink it up now if you have it. Best with food. Try a sausage pasta, with fire roasted tomatoes, and rotini. I would seek out other wines from this area. The vin deux Rasteau is worth trying.

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
